To make my tuna pasta salad with basil and parsley dressing first start by cooking your pasta as per pack of instructions in salted hot water

Then you're going to drain your pasta, rinse it under the cold water to cool it down quickly, then add some olive oil and just toss that through so when the cat as the pasta cools it doesn't stick together

So next I'm going to make the dressing. I'm going to add everything to my stick blender pot. You can use a blender or a mini chopper if it's a medium size one. So we're going to add parsley, basil, onion, garlic, salt and black pepper, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. And then we're just going to whizz it up until we've got a lovely smooth dressing

Once the pasta is cold, I'm going to add the deist rick peppers, the cannellini beans, tuna, the dressing and then I'm just going to toss that all through till it's well coated

I'm then going to add in two large handfuls of spinach, one at a time, just toss it through lightly, not too much because you're going to end up with really wet, softly spinach otherwise
