My creamy sausage and broccoli pasta is prepped in just 5 minutes and is cooked all together in one pot

We're going to start by finely chopping one onion and thinly slicing the florets of one broccoli

Next you want to break down your sausage meat. You can either use block sausage meat or sausages

Today I'm using sausages and these have really thin casings so it's easy for me to do

So now you want to heat your pan over a high heat and add the oil, onions and sausage meat

You need to cook this all up for about 10 minutes stirring often until the sausage has turned golden brown

Once it's started to brown and cook through, use your spoon to break down the chunks into smaller pieces

Then you are going to carefully drain off the excess fat, add in the hot water, crumble in the stock cube and stir until dissolved

Next add in the garlic and black pepper followed by the pasta and give it all a good stir

Once the liquid starts to boil, reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook over a rolling boil and stirring regularly

for about 11 minutes. At this point most of the liquid should have been absorbed

Then add in the broccoli, stir it in and cook for a further 5-6 minutes or until the liquid has pretty much all been absorbed and everything is tender

Then remove from the heat and stir in the cream cheese until you have a lovely creamy sauce covering everything
