To make my strawberry crumble buns, we're going to start by making the dough
0:10
Separate two egg yolks from their whites and set aside for later
0:15
Next we're going to melt the butter in a small pan and then we're going to add our milk
0:22
and heat through for just 30 seconds just so it's hand hot
0:26
Next into a large mixing bowl we're going to add the flour
0:30
then the yeast the sugar, the sugar, just a pinch of salt, and then we're going to just stir
0:50
it all together briefly and then make a well in the centre. So next we're
0:56
going to add in our milk and melted butter. Then our egg yolks, then vanilla essence and then give it all a really good stir until you get a thick dough
1:12
Then just briefly work it with your hands. Leave it in a ball shape and then cover with a teetout and leave in a warm place for one hour
1:26
Then you need to lightly flower your work top and divide the dough into twist then lightly roll them into balls transfer to two line baking trays cover with clink film and rest for one hour in a warm place in the meantime
1:41
chop up your strawberries now you can move on to making your crumble topping
1:52
Add flour, sugar and the butter to a small bowl and then work in with your fingers until crumb-like
2:01
This will take a few minutes to do. Chill until ready to use
2:06
Then once adobles have finished resting, take the bottom of a glass and flatten each top ready to add on the strawberries
2:15
It's probably a good idea to flour the tops of them. I forgot to do that there
2:20
Then you're just going to pile on the strawberries. making a little heap in the centre of each one
2:32
Then using the egg whites we saved earlier, just brush around all the exposed edges
2:38
Next, sprinkle a good amount of the crumble on top of each bun
2:52
Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 to 16 minutes until the buns are golden brown
